Welcome to the website of the Friends of Blairmore Pier Trust.
Friends of Blairmore Pier Trust is a community trust operating Blairmore Pier on a long-term lease from its owner Agnes Harvey. It is a 'not-for-profit' organisation with income being generated through berthing fees, merchandise and organised events. The pier's prime function is to provide marine transport links and currently provides the only direct marine access to Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park.
The pier is a landmark much loved by the local community. Its popularity for fishing has also earned it a place in the Scottish record books as it is noted as the location for a record catch of a 30lb angler fish caught in 1970 by local fisherman LC Hanley.
The trust will be holding its AGM on 14th March. Go to the News page for further details.
